Noon is noon. The food is there first.
Lunch is the order with the tightest window. The room breaks at twelve, has 40 minutes, and has to be back. We deliver and set ahead of the break so the line opens the second people walk in, and we portion so the last person through still has a full plate.
Three shapes cover almost every lunch: a hot buffet in chafing service for a room with a table, a sandwich and salad spread with croissant sandwiches and pasta salad for a casual crowd, and individually boxed lunches for job sites, classrooms and desks. One order can mix them.
Lunch starts at $13 per person. Two weeks notice is best, and we will tell you straight if a closer date works.
Who eats lunch in Akron, and where we take it.
Akron’s payroll runs through health care, education, utilities and what is left of rubber. Summa Health employs about 8,600, the University of Akron 5,900, Akron Children’s 5,800, FirstEnergy 5,500 and Cleveland Clinic Akron General 4,800. Akron Public Schools, Summit County, Goodyear, the City of Akron and Signet fill out the top ten. Those are the break rooms, conference rooms and lecture halls where an Akron lunch happens.
The kitchen at 647 E Market Street sits in the middle of it. Summa is a block away, downtown is five minutes, the University and the East End are under ten. Fairlawn, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Tallmadge and Green are the normal ring, and the schools and job sites out to Hudson, Barberton and Norton run on a scheduled drop.

This place offers ALL of your catering needs. I don't believe there is anything she can't provide for you. I have had SO many meals and attended SO many events. The Taste of the City (Akron) she provided so many great "samples". An outdoor hibachi grill party with all the trimmings, steak, shrimp, chicken, rice, fresh vegetables also one of my favorites. The taco bar and loaded potatoes are great for staff meetings. The seafood is always top quality, the largest shrimp! The desserts made from scratch are amazing.
