Some rooms cannot run a buffet. Job sites, conference breakouts, training days with a hard schedule, and offices where people eat at their desks all get individually boxed meals instead, so the food arrives portioned, labeled and ready to hand out.
Boxed lunches are built from the same kitchen as everything else, so a sandwich box, a salad box or a hot boxed meal can be mixed across one order to cover the room. Dietary needs and allergens are handled per box through the request form.

Akron’s workday happens in places where a buffet line is not welcome: a nursing floor at Summa or Akron Children’s, a lecture hall at the University of Akron, a jobsite trailer on a build in Green, a training room at Goodyear on Innovation Way. A labeled box that can be handed out in two minutes is the only format that works in all of them.
Delivery windows are built around shift changes and class schedules. Downtown and the Biomedical Corridor along East Market are a few minutes from the kitchen; Fairlawn, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Tallmadge and Green are inside the normal ring, and Kent, Medina, Canton and Cleveland run on a scheduled drop.
Conferences at the hotels in Fairlawn and Cuyahoga Falls and the meeting rooms downtown often need a hundred or more boxes staged by room. Give us the room list and the headcounts and the boxes arrive sorted.

Before you book.
What is the minimum order for boxed lunches?
Tell us the headcount and we will confirm. Small orders are easiest to pick up from the kitchen on East Market Street, and conference or training day orders of a hundred or more are welcome with two weeks notice.
Can boxes be labeled by name or by dietary need?
Yes. Each box is labeled with its contents, and we can add names or room numbers from a list you send with the order. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and allergen aware boxes are marked clearly.
Do boxed lunches come with a drink and dessert?
A dessert bar or cookie can be added to every box, and bottled drinks can be included or left off if your office supplies them. Tell us on the request form and we price it per box.
How early can you deliver for a morning training?
Put the start time on the request form and we schedule the drop ahead of it. Breakfast boxes run from $9 per person, with pastries, fruit and a hot option where the room allows.
