Not every gathering needs a full catering crew. Sometimes it needs a charcuterie board for twelve, a fruit tray for the break room, a crudite platter for the sideline at the kids’ game, or a grazing table for the one hour the guests are standing. This is that side of the kitchen: platters and trays made fresh, picked up from East Market Street or delivered to your door.
The grazing table is the showpiece and has its own page. Charcuterie boards, fruit and vegetable trays and appetizer platters are the smaller formats, sized by headcount and arranged to serve from the tray without any setup.
Charcuterie and crudites start at $11 per person. Tell us the headcount and the date, and whether you are picking up or want it delivered.

The kitchen at 647 E Market Street is a few minutes from downtown, the University and the hospitals, which is where most pickups come from: a tray for a nursing floor, a platter for an office birthday on South Main, boards for a Highland Square porch party. Delivery covers the rest of the city and the ring around it, from Fairlawn and Copley to Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Tallmadge and Green.
Fall Sundays are platter season in Northeast Ohio, with Browns games on in every living room from Ellet to Hudson. Graduation open houses in June and holiday parties in December are the other two peaks. Order ahead for those weekends.

Before you book.
Can I just pick up a tray instead of booking catering?
Yes. Platters and trays are made for pickup from the kitchen at 647 E Market Street. Tell us the headcount, the day and the pickup time on the request form or by phone.
How much notice does a platter need?
A few days for a standard tray, longer around Browns Sundays, graduation weekends and the holidays. For a grazing table, plan on two weeks.
How many people does a charcuterie board or a fruit tray feed?
Boards and trays are sized by headcount, from a small gathering to a crowd. Give us the number of guests and whether the tray is a snack or the meal and we size it.
Do you deliver platters outside Akron?
Yes. Fairlawn, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Tallmadge, Green and Copley are the normal ring, and Kent, Canton, Medina and Cleveland run on a scheduled delivery with a catering order.
