Most caterers send you to a bakery. Our cakes are made from scratch in the same kitchen as the catering, which is why couples and families book us for the whole table: one delivery, one setup, one person to call on the day. The cakes are also ordered on their own, picked up from East Market Street or delivered.
Custom cakes cover birthdays, showers, graduations and anniversaries. Wedding cakes are designed around the colors, the flavors and the guest count. Birthday cakes run from a first birthday smash cake to a milestone that needs a sheet cake beside it.
Dessert pricing starts at $6 per person. Bring a photo, a swatch or an invitation and the design conversation starts there.

Graduation cakes arrive in a wave from late May through June, one school color scheme after another from Buchtel to Walsh Jesuit. Wedding cakes follow the reception calendar at Stan Hywet on Portage Path, the ballrooms on Akron Peninsula Road and East Waterloo, and the lodges out toward Peninsula. Birthday cakes never stop.
Tiered cakes travel assembled across Akron, Fairlawn, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow and Green from the kitchen at 647 E Market Street. For Kent, Canton, Medina and Cleveland we can finish the top tiers at the venue so nothing arrives leaning.

This place offers ALL of your catering needs. I don't believe there is anything she can't provide for you. I have had SO many meals and attended SO many events. The Taste of the City (Akron) she provided so many great "samples". An outdoor hibachi grill party with all the trimmings, steak, shrimp, chicken, rice, fresh vegetables also one of my favorites. The taco bar and loaded potatoes are great for staff meetings. The seafood is always top quality, the largest shrimp! The desserts made from scratch are amazing. Do you make wedding cakes as well as cater weddings?
Yes, and usually both for the same wedding. The cake and the dessert table come from the kitchen that makes the dinner, so there is one vendor on the day. The cake can also be ordered alone.
How far ahead should a cake be ordered in Akron?
Two weeks for most custom and birthday cakes, longer for a wedding tier with a detailed design. The busiest stretches are late May through June and the first three weeks of December, so for those, send the date as soon as you have it.
Can you match a cake to a theme or a photo?
Yes. Send the photo, the colors or the invitation with the request. The cake is designed and decorated in house to match.
Can I pick up a cake from your kitchen?
Yes. Pickup is from 647 E Market Street in Akron at a time you choose. Tiered and large cakes are better delivered, and we will tell you which when we confirm.
