From a 30 person reception to a festival line.
Event catering covers everything that is not a wedding and not an office lunch: the nonprofit gala, the church anniversary, the ribbon cutting, the neighborhood festival booth, the retirement reception and the family reunion in a rented hall. Each one needs a menu that matches how people will move through the room and how long the food has to hold.
Grazing tables and appetizers carry a standing reception. Hot buffets with chafing service carry a seated one. Festival and fair style service runs off a serving line built for volume, the way one of our reviews remembers from Taste of the City in Akron. Desserts and a themed cake come out of the same kitchen when the event wants a sweet close.
Every menu is built to the headcount and the budget per person. Bring the date, the room and the run of show and we come back with a menu and a real number.

Fruit, grazing and the hot line at Akron events.
See more from real eventsAkron events happen in halls, parks and lobbies. We have fed all three.
Akron is a city of 190,000 with a metro past 700,000, and most of its events run through a short list of rooms. Downtown has Greystone Hall on South High, the Civic Theatre and the Akron Art Museum within a few blocks of Lock 3. Church halls anchor Firestone Park, Goodyear Heights, North Hill and Kenmore. Summit Metro Parks rents shelters at Goodyear Heights and Cascade Valley in the city, and at Munroe Falls, Silver Creek and Wood Hollow just outside it.
The kitchen at 647 E Market Street puts all of that inside a 20 minute drive, which matters for hot food. Our request form asks for the setup window, the serving time and whether the room has a kitchen, a prep table or just an outlet, because a lobby reception at a tower on South Main and a shelter picnic with no running water are different plans.
Fundraisers and community events often need a price per head that the committee can defend. Tell us the budget per person and the number you have to hit and we build backwards from there.

What comes with it.
Standing receptions
Grazing tables, appetizer stations and passed hors d’oeuvres for rooms where people mingle rather than sit.
Seated events
Hot buffets with chafing service or plated service for galas, anniversaries and award dinners.
Festival and fair service
Serving lines built for volume, portioned so the line keeps moving and the last plate matches the first.
Themed desserts
A cake decorated to the organization or the occasion, plus dessert cups, bars and mini pies from the same kitchen.
This place offers ALL of your catering needs. I don't believe there is anything she can't provide for you. I have had SO many meals and attended SO many events. The Taste of the City (Akron) she provided so many great "samples". An outdoor hibachi grill party with all the trimmings, steak, shrimp, chicken, rice, fresh vegetables also one of my favorites. The taco bar and loaded potatoes are great for staff meetings. The seafood is always top quality, the largest shrimp! The desserts made from scratch are amazing. Cakes, cheesecakes, individual desserts, it doesn't end. Give them a try! Best prices around with professional service.
