Brownies, bars and mini pies are the desserts that need no occasion. A tray at the end of a staff meeting, a plate at a church reception, a box for the crew at a job site, the sweet row on a buffet line. Made from scratch at the kitchen and cut the day they go out, so the brownie is still a brownie and the lemon bar still has its edge.
They go by the tray for pickup or drop off, by the dozen with a boxed lunch order, or as the body of a dessert table between the cups and the cake. Mini pies rotate with the season.
Dessert starts at $6 per person on a catered order; trays are priced by the dozen. Tell us the count and the date.

The tray order follows the Akron workweek: department meetings at the hospitals along East Market, lunch and learns in the Route 18 offices, teacher lounges at Akron Public Schools buildings, volunteer days at the nonprofits downtown. Weekends it follows the halls, as the sweet row after a repast in Firestone Park or a church anniversary in North Hill, and the backyards, as the dessert that survives a graduation open house in Ellet.
Trays are picked up from 647 E Market Street or dropped across Akron and the ring around it. On a catered buffet, the bars and brownies sit at the end of the line next to the fruit so the last stop is a sweet one.
