Appetizer platters are the pickup and drop off version of our appetizer catering. The same small bites and finger foods, arranged on platters that go straight onto your table and serve themselves, with no server and no setup beyond finding a spot for them.

They work for the office party that wants more than chips, the open house where guests drift through for three hours, the game day where the table is the whole plan, and the cocktail hour where a friend is pouring. Hot bites can be delivered ready to warm, cold bites ready to set out.

Open houses, game days and the office party.

Akron orders appetizer platters for the gatherings that run on their own. Open houses at new offices along Route 18 and new storefronts in Highland Square. Game days from September through January in living rooms across the city. Office parties on South Main and East Market where the break room table does the serving. Church receptions after a service in North Hill and Kenmore.

Platters are made at 647 E Market Street for pickup at the time you choose or delivered across Akron and the normal ring. Hot bites come with warming instructions and travel in pans that go straight into your oven.

This place offers ALL of your catering needs. I don't believe there is anything she can't provide for you. I have had SO many meals and attended SO many events. The Taste of the City (Akron) she provided so many great "samples". An outdoor hibachi grill party with all the trimmings, steak, shrimp, chicken, rice, fresh vegetables also one of my favorites. The taco bar and loaded potatoes are great for staff meetings. The seafood is always top quality, the largest shrimp! The desserts made from scratch are amazing. Cakes, cheesecakes, individual desserts, it doesn't end. Give them a try! Best prices around with professional service.

Do appetizer platters come hot or cold?

Both. Cold platters are set out as they arrive. Hot bites are delivered in oven ready pans with the warming time written on the lid, so they come out hot when your guests do.

How much notice does an appetizer platter order need?

A few days for a standard order. Game day Sundays, the holidays and graduation weekends need more. Larger orders for an open house are easiest with a week.

Can I pick platters up instead of having them delivered?

Yes. Platters wait for you at the kitchen on East Market Street at the time you name, or we bring them to you anywhere in Akron and the ring of towns around it.

How many platters do I need?

Tell us the headcount and how long the gathering runs. An open house that drifts for three hours needs more per person than a cocktail hour before dinner, and we size the order to that.
