A custom cake starts with a conversation: the occasion, the number of guests, the colors, and the thing that makes it theirs. From there it is made from scratch in the same kitchen as our catering, decorated to the theme, and delivered with the rest of the order or on its own.
The drip cake with a movie character on top of our work page was a tenth birthday. Wedding tiers, graduation cakes in school colors, shower cakes to match the invitations and anniversary cakes that repeat the original are all the same craft at a different scale.
Dessert pricing starts at $6 per person. Tell us the date, the guest count and the idea and we come back with a design and a number.
Cakes for the way Akron celebrates.
Akron celebrates in a predictable calendar. Graduation cakes in late May and June for the eight Akron Public Schools high schools, the Catholic schools and the University. Shower cakes through spring and fall. Birthday cakes every weekend of the year, from first birthdays in Ellet to seventieths in Fairlawn Heights. Wedding cakes for receptions from Stan Hywet’s gardens on Portage Path to the halls on Akron Peninsula Road.
Cakes are picked up from the kitchen at 647 E Market Street or delivered with a catering order anywhere in the service area. A tiered cake travels assembled only so far, so for Canton, Kent, Medina or Cleveland we can finish the stacking on site.

This place offers ALL of your catering needs. I don't believe there is anything she can't provide for you. I have had SO many meals and attended SO many events. The Taste of the City (Akron) she provided so many great "samples". An outdoor hibachi grill party with all the trimmings, steak, shrimp, chicken, rice, fresh vegetables also one of my favorites. The taco bar and loaded potatoes are great for staff meetings. The seafood is always top quality, the largest shrimp! The desserts made from scratch are amazing.
