Styled for the photos, built for a Sunday afternoon.
A bridal shower is a daytime party that gets photographed more than most weddings. The grazing table has to look right from the door, the brunch spread has to hold through two hours of games, and the dessert table has to match the invitations. We build all three from one kitchen and style them on your table.
Brunch is the usual shape: pastries, fruit, a hot dish or two, and a mimosa table you supply. A grazing table or appetizer display carries an afternoon shower. Dessert cups, a themed cake and bars in the shower colors close it, and leftovers box up for the bride.
Brunch spreads start at $9 per person and grazing at $11, with the dessert side from $6. Send the date, the guest list and the colors and we build the shower around them.

Showers in Akron happen at the host’s house first. West Akron and Fairlawn Heights living rooms, the newer houses in Copley and Bath, and the big kitchens in Hudson and Stow host most of them. When the guest list outgrows the house, the party rooms at the restaurants along Route 18 in Montrose, church fellowship halls and the smaller rooms at the ballrooms on Akron Peninsula Road take over.
Shower season runs spring and fall, two to three months ahead of the wedding, so April, May, September and October Sundays book together. Everything is made at 647 E Market Street the morning of and set on site, with the display pieces, risers and signage included.
If we are catering the wedding too, the shower is a chance to taste the menu early.
